Delicious cake …..just mix mix and easy..


For the sponge
320gms Cake flour
300gms Sugar
20gms Baking powder
6 Eggs
110ml Milk
130gms Neutral oil
190gms Melted butter

For the filling
400ml Double cream
Icing sugar as per your taste
Strawberry jam
Vanilla pod


Preheat oven to 180°C.
Grease and line two cake tins.
For the sponge mix dry ingredients first flour, sugar and baking powder.
Now take the wet ingredients egg, milk, oil, melted butter and vanilla extract.
Mix well.
Divide the batter in two tins, use scales if you like accuracy.
Bake them for 35-40 mins at 180°C.
Leave them to fully cool either in tins or remove from the tin and place them on cooling racks.
Put one of the sponge on your plate and spread the jam onto it.
Pipe or spread the whipped cream over the jam.
Add some raspberries.
Add another sponge on the top.
Dust some icing sugar or decorate how you like.
And serve.
