Vegan Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Hey Foodies! These Vegan version of meaty Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches are easy to make! Made with jackfruit meat, peppers and onions, smothered in dairy-free cheese sauce, they’re loaded with flavor and packed with nutrients!

Ingredients:
Vegan Cheese Sauce:
1 pc Carrot
1 1/2 cup Almond Milk
1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/3 cup Tapioca Starch
3 tbsp Annatto Water
( 1 tbsp Annatto + 1/4 cup Hot Water)
Salt to taste

“Steak”
3 tbsp Olive Oil
3 cloves Garlic
1 whole White Onion
1/2 Red Bellpepper
1/2 Green Bellpepper
Salt and Pepper
300g Jackfruit
1 cup Mushroom Stock
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
Dash of Liquid Smoke
Slurry (2 tsp cornstarch + 1/3 cup water)

Other Ingredients:
Mini Baguette Bread
Microgreens for garnish
