I was inspired to make beignets immediately after watching the movie "Chef". I always loved beignets, because who doesn’t love the simplicity of fried dough dusted with powdered sugar? This recipe gets me excited about being able to go to New Orleans one day so I can try Cafe Du Monde’s Beignets in person.

-1 + 3/4 Cups / 210G Bread Flour (Sorry I put the wrong amount of Gram in the video)
-1/2 Tsp Salt
-1/4 Cup + 2Tbsp / 90mL Warm Water
-2 + 1/2 Tbsp / 33G Sugar
-1/2 Tsp Instant Dry Yeast
-1/2 Egg (25G)
-1/4 Cup / 63mL Evaporated Milk
-1/24 Tsp Vanilla Extract
-1/4 Cup / 31G Powdered Sugar
Fry at 350F / 177C for 1 min on each side, or until golden brown.
