I like to have fun creating recipes with few ingredients, based on flour and a vegetable (a dough base). Today in the theme “You will be happy” I offer you my recipe with lentils! An economical recipe, which will make you happy with the result. These homemade croutons are always a hit with my guests. The croutons will keep for several weeks in an airtight jar or several months if you prefer to freeze them. You can replace wheat flour with gluten-free flour. Good tasting !

Ingredients :
130 grams (about 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons) raw lentils
1 teaspoon of curry
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
200 g (1 cup + ¼ cup) quality flour
125 ml (1/2 cup) of the broth
