ingredients :
2 medium eggs.
1/2 cup of sugar (100g).
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (5ml).
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil (40ml).
4 tablespoons of melted butter (60ml).
1 teaspoon of baking powder (5g).
3 cups of all purpose flour (360-380g).

pastry cream :
1 medium egg.
~6 and 1/2 tablespoons of sugar (80g).
a splash of vanilla extract.
6 tablespoons of cornstarch (45g).
zest of 1/2 lemon.
2 cups of milk (500ml).
2 tablespoons of butter (30g).
1 tablespoon of lemon juice (15ml).

for garnish :
3-4 apples.
lemon juice (about 2-3 tablespoons).
1 tablespoon of sugar.
Apricot jam, or honey.
