How to make Vietnamese egg coffee┃Cafe GIANG

Vietnamese egg coffee is made with egg yolk and condensed milk, and then added to the black coffee, which has a taste like tiramisu. I heard that such egg coffee started in the 1940s, when milk was a luxury in Vietnam, and eggs became a cheap alternative. The taste is very special, let’s try it.

1 egg yolk
Sugar 1/2 tbsp
Condensed Milk 1/2 tbsp
Instant Coffee 1/2 tbsp
Hot water 30ML

  1. Prepare eggs that can be eaten raw, separate the egg white from the yolk

  3. Egg yolk is added with condensed milk, sugar then beat with a whisk until it rises, pour into the cup
  4. Instant coffee is flushed with hot water  and poured into a cup
  5. Finally add cocoa powder ,  evenly mixed and ready to drink.
