Ghana light soup Chop bar style light soup with assorted protein

INGREDIENTS:

* 2 small piece Ginger (about 1/2 tbsp when crushed)
* Chili (amount as tolerated)
* 3 cloves Garlic
* 3-4 small Tomatoes
* 3 small Garden eggs/eggplant/aubergine (about 200 g)
* 1/2 large onion
* 4 cups Water to boil above ingredients
* Protein: 1/2 pound bone in beef, 1/4 pound cured lamb AKA Toolo beef. Season with generous amount of salt to start, other half of onion chopped, 2 grains of selim (optional, or substitute with 1/4 tsp crushed black pepper) cook on medium high, while stirring periodically, for 10 mins.
* Other protein- 1/4 pound smoked fish, 4 small African snails, about 60 g salted fish AKA supaku
* 1 heaping tbsp tomato paste
* 1/4 tsp crushed black pepper
* 1/4 tsp vegetable bouillon (may substitute with chicken or beef bouillon)
* Additional 1-1/2 L water
* 1 Aidan fruit AKA prekese
* Garnish with whole okro, chili, garden eggs (must cook with soup till fork tender)
*** total cook time 1 hour ***
