In today’s video I’m going to show you how to make Gulab Jamun.
Gulab Jamun are the most popular sweet dish in Pakistan, and I believe in India too. They are these soft and pillowy milk balls that are soaked in a sweet rose and cardamom flavored syrup. This easy Gulab Jamun recipe is so delectable, and so easy to make at home. Try them out for Ramadan and let me know how they turn out.
🌟Ingredients List for your convenience:
Syrup (Gulab [rose] Jamun syrup):
1.5 cups sugar
1.5-2 cups water
5 cardamom pods, or 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp. rose water or extract
Milk Balls (Jamun):
7 tbsp. all purpose flour
1.5 cups milk powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1.5 tbsp yogurt or lemon juice
3+ tbsp milk
1.5 tbsp. ghee, or oil – plus more for making the balls
