Black Bean Veggie Wrap

In this video I’m going to show you how to make healthy black bean wraps.

In fact, these vegetable wraps are a smart choice for lunch or dinner, very simple to make, and are so versatile.

BLACK BEAN WRAP RECIPE

For beans:
1 onion, finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
olive oil, for frying

For spinach pesto:
2 cups chopped fresh spinach
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup toasted almonds
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
pinch of salt and black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup olive oil

For whole wheat pita bread:
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup water
1 tsp honey
2 tsp dry yeast
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
