Levain Bakery in NYC is known for its enormous, rustic-looking cookies. I was a bit skeptical when I tried them but these cookies are definitely worth the hype and the cult following they have. These cookies are crisp and golden on the outside, while super soft and almost gooey on the inside. This recipe is definitely worth trying if you can’t make it out to NYC yourself, this is a pretty close second!

-1 + 1/2 Cup / 180G AP Flour
-1 Tsp Corn Starch
-1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
-1/2 Tsp Salt
-1/2 Cup / 125G Cold Unsalted Butter (Cubed)
-1/2 Cup / 100G Brown Sugar
-1/4 Cup / 50G Sugar
-1 Egg (50G)
-1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
-3/4 Cup / 120 G Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
-3/4 Cup / 90G Chopped Walnuts
Bake at 425F /218C for 10 mins, or until golden brown.
