Almond flour Banana Bread | Gluten FREE Loaf Cake with Almond Flour

The BEST healthy banana bread recipe made with almond flour! Tender on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside, this healthy banana bread is gluten-free and sugar free!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups almond flour (200g)
  • 1-2 tbsp honey OR maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large ripe bananas (200g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup soft butter (113g) OR coconut oil
  • Almond flakes or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Prepare a 9×5 inch (or 8×4 inch) loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl mash the bananas with a potato masher or fork until smooth.

  4. Add honey, soft butter, salt, baking powder and whisk until well combined.
  5. Add eggs and whisk again.
  6. Now add the almond flour. Stir until combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth out the top and topping with more almond flakes/chocolate chips (optional)

  9. Bake the loaf for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  10. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Slice and enjoy.
